CAITLIN SCHRAGE, LCSW
Before becoming a therapist I was an artist; I have my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (painting and drawing). I graduated with my Masters degree in Social Work from University of Illinois at Chicago, Jane Addams College of Social Work in 2015. After graduate school I worked with adults and teens for several years in community mental health settings. Many of the people I worked with were having mental health crises, some were impacted by severe and persistent mental issues, trauma, homelessness, and substance use issues.
Since 2020 I have been a mental health therapist. I draw from a strengths-based, relational perspective and believe in the power of connection, humor, and kindness to help people heal. I think that everyone is on their own journey to find meaning, realize their own strength, and it’s my role to be a guide.
